マフラーエンド、ぶった斬り！

ビート復活計画も着々と進行中なのでありますが、
今回エアロパーツをすべて一新します。
それに伴い、不具合のある箇所がでてきました。
それがリアバンパーと、マフラーエンドとの干渉です。
新たに装着予定のリアバンパーは、
これまでのHIPPO SLEEKの物よりも下側への張り出しが大きく、
ワンオフで製作してもらったマフラーのエンド部分が、
見事にリアバンパーに接触してしまうのです。
そうなると、マフラーにあたらないようにバンパーをえぐるか？
バンパーに当たらないようにマフラーを切り取るか、交換するか？
二者択一の問題に私は後者のほうを選びました。
つまりリアバンパーはそのままで、マフラーを加工する方法・・・。
どちらかと言えば、この選択は金がかかるんですねー。
素直にバンパーえぐっていればと思うんですが、そこはビート復活計画、
お金に糸目をつけちゃいけません！（大嘘）
マフラーを新調するか、加工するか、これまた方法はいくつかあるんですが、
ひとまず現状のワンオフマフラーのエンド部分をカットしてもらうべく、
太洋モータースさんへビートを持って行きました。
（ちなみに、ビートは赤黒黄白というチンドンカラー状態です！）
そうしてエンド部分を切り落としてもらい、ようやくリアバンパーとの
干渉はなくなりましたが、なんとも寂しいお姿になってしまいました。
この後、マフラーをワンオフで新調するか（大金はたくコース）、
現マフラーのエンドを加工するか（これもそこそこ大金コース）、
他の新品マフラーを買うか（以外にお手頃コース）のいずれかはまだ未定です！
